CONCEPT

The Interbloccato Fixture is derived from the unique shapes and geometry found in pasta. It is inspired, foremost, by the curvilinear and cylindrical forms found in penne and bow tie pasta. The interbloccato light was created with the intention to be a moveable and durable fixture for the Un Passo Avanti restaurant. A main goal for the design of this fixture was to be easily taken down and apart in order to be stored during the winter months. Through this goal, durability and cleanability were addressed in the physical construction of the fixture and the materials selected.
